The 46th UAE National Day was celebrated by Jaleel

The 46th UAE National Day was celebrated by Jaleel in all its pomp and splendor. As our ‘Home away from Home’ all the employees of Jaleel Holdings participated in the day long celebrations with great enthusiasm. All shops, offices and vehicles of Jaleel were decorated with UAE flags and colored paper trimmings.

Jaleel Annual Sports Day

Jaleel Annual Sports Day was held at the Sharjah Paintball Park on 17th Friday 2017. The event was inaugurated at 02pm with kick off by Mr Gafoor K Mohamed, Executive Director. A total of sixteen teams from various divisions competed for the prestigious Jaleel Foot ball League Rolling trophy. Apart from foot ball, competitions were also held for Shuttle badminton and Tug of war. Drawing competitions and penalty shoot outs were also held for the children of Jaleel staff.

Jaleel Distribution won the Rolling Trophy while Shaji B from Orbex won the Shuttle badminton singles event. All the prizes were distributed by Mr. Sameer K Mohamed, Managing Director.

The fifth Annual Blood Donation Campaign

The fifth Annual Blood Donation Campaign was done at the Jaleel Corporate Office on 12th Oct,2017. The event was organized in association with Dubai Blood Donation Center (DBDC), which is a department of Al Wasl Hospital. Almost one hundred staff came forward to be a part of the solemn event and 52 pints of blood could be collected.

UAE Food Bank will boost surplus food donation in Dubai

Sameer K. Mohammad, Managing Director of UAE-based Jaleel Holdings, which owns Jaleel Wholesale Point, told Gulf News that a new trend will engulf the UAE's wholesale trade that could potentially make the groceries and corner shops more attractive and price competitive than they are now.

When Sameer K. Mohammad took over the reins, it was not a case of him trying to get the family-owned business to adapt to technology in a big way. It was more an effort to get the business and its employees not to treat technology as a scourge.
